Web SSL Checker

Check website SSL

Enter a domain name to check its HTTPS certificate on port 443.

Domain name only — no https://, path or port.

Try:
The test only connects to port 443 and reads the certificate. It does not fetch any page content.
01 / CONNECTION

HTTPS on port 443

We connect to your domain using SNI, just like a browser, and read the certificate it presents.

02 / CERTIFICATE

Validity and trust

We check the validity dates, domain name match and chain verification. You will see the issuer, SAN names and expiry date.

03 / ENCRYPTION

What does the server negotiate?

See the TLS version and cipher suite used for the connection. We flag outdated TLS and certificates that expire soon.

Good to know

Which name should I enter?

Enter the domain exactly as in the address bar, e.g. example.com or www.example.com. Each of these names can have its own certificate, so check both if needed.

What does a certificate warning mean?

The certificate may be invalid, issued for a different name or not verifiable with our server’s trusted CA store. A missing intermediate certificate on the server also causes a warning. We also show it if the certificate expires within 3 days.

Where does the test run from?

From HOSTEDBY.PL infrastructure, against one public IP address returned by DNS. The result reflects the moment of the check. We do not fetch page content, and the tool does not store reports.
